Kelly Burgess: Hit the streets of Chelmsford tonight running a 6mile self navigated route by Essex Trail Events. Brilliantly organised, given a race number with a sheet of directions to follow. Once we had finished there was a cool glow in the dark medal waiting for us plus Pizza, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, Flapjacks, cakes and tea..... all included in the entry price!! Brilliant evening with fab friends!!

Emma Smith: Just finished the Tarmac Twister Trail race! So much fun.

Tania Blanks: First timer here... really enjoyed it, a nice change to road running, directions were confusing to begin with but quickly got use to it, and fortunately then caught up with others so was slightly easier to know where we were going! Would do it again

Paula Shrimpton:  First timer here, my daughter and I had great fun and despite having done lots of orienteering in my youth we had Colin Harper with us and that made it easier. Will definitely do another event.

Thank you so much for attending our fete yesterday – you added a new dimension to the fete and we really appreciated your runners staying and spending their time and money with us – we hope they enjoyed it.

Thank you for the £100 you gave through the combination of voucher sales and entry donation - as well, of course, as the additional contributions made by the runners themselves over and above this whilst at the fete.

We would be delighted to have you back again next year on the first Saturday in June.

Thank you again and very best wishes
